Body cinema: Lemeh42, Illusion for movements: A study on choreography
Two Italian media artists – Lemeh42, joined their forces in 2005 with an aim to create video art and performance related multimedia artworkz / installations.
Lemeh42 create at the edges of all above mentioned media techniques within their visual procédé combining animation with regular video art meta-narration.

About the film:
This work is the result of a video performance fully recorded in a theater. It has been realized as a reflection on the concept of choreography.
The study that we have done starts from the re-consideration of the concepts of body movements.
At the beginning and at the end of life the body lies in horizontal position making movements that are not the results of rational elaborations.
Movement becomes pure, absolute improvisation.
Considering that, the results, the images collected show the primordial nature of the human being translated into movements, the same nature that evolves into choreography.
