Zn’shñ for glitch and Butoh fans…
Here are wonderful new videos by duo Zn’shñ which are inspired by Butoh and Japanese culture on one side, and electronic music & glitch at the other side…
I guess, I’m in small love crash with people who are making what I call ‘organic’ art… thingz that are based more on practice… practice is what I’m fully interested in… it’s a wheel of art…

Zn’shñ are Elvire Bastendorff & Franck Smith… they say about the name they’ve picked up this: ‘According to a fictitious etymology, the term Zn’shñ signifies: the gleam of dark colours. Deliberately antithetic and intentionally enigmatic, Zn’shñ is enthused by Butoh iconography, Japanese Gagaku aesthetic and Tibetan rituals codification’.

‘Operating as a dual electronic unit (multi-instrumentalist /composer Franck Smith and artist/sound-activist Elvire Bastendorff), Zn’shñ deepens some very specific works around digital phonocrafting and noise manufacturing’.
