On the Balkan Fibre Art workshop Michaela Padeva was creating paper artwork ‘Body as a Dress of Soul’, whose form was following the shape of crinoline and pattern was an assemblage of paper cuts and wooden branches.

Parts, cut from popular magazines, referred to light and superficial female topics presented in texts or in pictures of (half) naked women. The pattern was enriched with ‘natural parts’, maybe an indicator of a lost normality… ‘Body as a Dress of Soul’ is showing some interesting aspects about souls and bodies that are forming our landscape.
