Nick Holt’s debut documentary ‘Guys and Dolls’ is certainly one of those films that is fillin’ comments section on most blogs where reviews of this film were published. Let’s check what’s the whole fuss about?!


A documentary celebrating the bizarre phenomenon of real dolls – synthetic, life-sized, anatomically correct silicone love machines. “Guys and Dolls“ follows a variety of doll owners as they care for, enter- tain and have sex with their plastic partners.
In order to answer the question why more and more men are choosing dolls over the real thing we also meet the creators, doll makers and the most important doll contact of all – the doll doctor who services and fixes overused and mistreated dolls. (synopsis taken from: berlin.unlike)

Nick Holt is a British TV director. Guys and Dolls was his first documentary TV. The  film was nominated for the BAFTA Award in 2007.
