I saw the film Field, Clowns, Apple… by Russian filmmaker Shota Gamisonia back in 2008 at One Take Film Festival – biennial international festival of films shot in one take… I’ve blogged about the festival in the context of Christopher Doyle‘s photography exhibition…

Synopsis:
This is the story of little Georgi, who lived by the sea and dreamed of becoming a sailor. The director ponders about the places, where dreams take us, and the path little Georgi has to take.

Shota Gamisonia (1989) graduated acting at the Vakhtangov Theatre Academy and attended Postgraduate School of Screenwriters and Film Directors.

Participated in Russian and international film festivals (Italy, Croatia, Netherlands, RSA and others). Special prize of Moscow Guild of film critics at Moscow Short Film Festival 2009. 2007 – short feature film Kogda-to my jili v gorah…/Once we lived in mountains…, 10 min, director.
