Obviously Brooklyn is very, very inspiring place to be… Coz when you put your fingers, eyes or mind on some art piece which has a label ‘Made in Brooklyn’, you can always expect something special.
Kief Davidson, feature film and documentary director, was born and raised in Brooklyn, very vivacious area of New York. Today, I’m gonna blog about his documentary ‘Kassim the Dream‘ that covers life story of African boxer Kassim The Dream Ouma.

Striking and haunting documentary ‘Burma VJ – Reporting From a Closed Country‘ was certainly for me the best film of this year’s Zagreb Dox programme.
I’m so glad that this film got a special recognition in the competition and Movies That Matters Award for best film dealing with human rights issues.

Time to begin my reviews on films I saw on Zagreb Dox Film Festival that occupied me completely over the last five days.
Although I started watching films which were selected in the programme entitled Happy Dox, I’m gonna start with film from the competition programme and that’s animated film Slaves by Hanna Heilborn & David Aronowitsch.
