Interview with Guillermo Gomez Pena: You know, I worship the imagination!

Among many film, dance and art festivals in Croatia, Queer Zagreb is also a blogger friendly oriented festival. Thanks to their understanding of the media, I had the opportunity to interview one amazing performance artist and poet, Guillermo Gomez Pena

I interviewed him a month ago after his performance with La Pocha Nostra… for this occasion, Body Pixel co-blogger Ivana also joined me for the interview with Guillermo…

Cool people from past: Tashamira

I wanted to post this on my blog for a long time… Tashamira was a Croatian dancer and choreographer whose real name was Vera Milcinovic. When I first time saw her photos from 1930′s at the exhibition ‘Avant Garde Tendencies in Croatian Art’ few years ago, I was completely thrilled…

First, her name sounds even today very hype and cool… But Tashamira’s ‘image’ was crucial, just take a look at her costume and hair cut… She was also one of those faces that were far ahead of their time…

Christopher Doyle… photographer who changed cinematography

When it’s about Christopher Doyle’s photography, most of the time I’m speechless… I think, it’s better than to leave Doyle to speak for himself… with photographs and wordz… at least for tonight…

‘I have the most wonderful job in the world because I’m looking. Every day I notice the light on your face.’
