Cool people from past: Tashamira

I wanted to post this on my blog for a long time… Tashamira was a Croatian dancer and choreographer whose real name was Vera Milcinovic. When I first time saw her photos from 1930’s at the exhibition ‘Avant Garde Tendencies in Croatian Art’ few years ago, I was completely thrilled…

First, her name sounds even today very hype and cool… But Tashamira’s ‘image’ was crucial, just take a look at her costume and hair cut… She was also one of those faces that were far ahead of their time…

Christopher Doyle… photographer who changed cinematography

When it’s about Christopher Doyle’s photography, most of the time I’m speechless… I think, it’s better than to leave Doyle to speak for himself… with photographs and wordz… at least for tonight…

‘I have the most wonderful job in the world because I’m looking. Every day I notice the light on your face.’

Ciao Anna!

Um… I think, I’m stuck now… My fingers are dancing around the keyboard for how many minutes? 25 or 30… while trying to start writing… my wrists are almost red and totally furbished from heavy reclining at my table…

How to make a cool blog intro for such an actress as cool as Anna Magnani was?!

Danijel Zezelj: silence and wordz # ink and story # line and sound

I don’t think I’m able to express fully how much graphic novels by Danijel Zezelj have had influence the way I see thingz…

Sometimes, I think that everything what I‘ve learned about composition, relation between black and white tones, telling stories with liquid irony draining from my mind the latest drops of my ‘imaginative exploratorium’ it’s because I’ve red comics by Danijel Zezelj…
