Chao Gan’s striking documentary The Red Race was the winner of Zagreb Film Festival in 2008. This year Gan was a jury member in documentary competition of the same festival. It was really a great opportunity to talk with him about his career, The Red Race and development of documentary genre in China.

Parkour is a fascinating, relatively young, urban art form. It was founded by Frenchman David Belle, who wanted to combine elements of gymnastics, martial arts, climbing and athletics in one unique style. At the beginning Parkour was spread mostly by men, but lately you can see a lot of women practicing and combining it with dance.
