Remade – Artservis #2

Artservis workshops were initiated as the idea of socially engaged art that stepped out of the white box. To be precise, workshop did not completely abandoned art institutions cause they were taking place in museum or gallery space, but they absorbed street public within its frame. All of a sudden you had sacred art rooms filled with crowd that brought old clothes yearning after an art touch.

Balkan Fibre Art ’08 – gallery ll

During the Balkan Fibre Art Nena Skoko, also one of the main initiators of the whole event, made an intriguing work called ‘Seven Women’s Days’. On the first level it’s humoristic and provoking, but it also reveals some of the crucial elements in female nature – the period is not just a physical process, it also functions on psychological and emotional sphere.
