25FPS interview with Edwin van der Heide

Another interview made in the production of remarkable 25FPS – International Festival of Experimental Film and Video! I’ve decided to pick up this interview exactly now because it fits perfectly to the topic from my previous post with Thomas Dumke, curator of  Dresden’s CYNETart Festival.

Pocket cinema: Sketches of Frank Gehry

I still remember the day when I was approaching Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. I was on my way to the building maybe less than two hours after I landed on airport in lovely Basque… Euskadi.

Something happened that day to me, I can’t explain what exactly… but I can tell you for sure that from that day I see structures and lines in space completely different…  I thank for this Frank O. Gehry

Map for the blind

Young design student Ana Zupic created in 2008 a prototype of a tool she entitled ‘Map for the blind’ or ‘A Tactile Map for Visually Impaired’ intended to be in use as equipment for better socialization and integration into urban environment.

The map I saw projected the city of Zagreb, but naturally, the project could be carried out and adapted to any space or situation.

Interview with Satoshi Morita: On sound experiences through the body…

Satoshi Morita is the sound guy… completely…  he explores the possibilities of our perception through sound and body…

I’ve met him in December at Touch me Festival, where he presented his latest project, the sound capsule, artwork rewarded with honorary award at Arts Electronica in 2008.
