Saso Sedlacek’s Origami Space Aircraft…

It’s already a known thing that artists are sort of explorers… and scientists as well… I’m not taking into account now Leonardo and his flying devices… although I could… The region where I live still has a lot of wounds from the past, as well as many present issues to solve… Sometimes we like to play… When grown ups play, they usually do it passionate, even too passionate…

Interview with Yosuke Kawamura: Mixing analogue and digital worlds

My next interview from Device_art 3.009, held during October 2009 in Zagreb, today on schedule! Back then Yosuke Kawamura  presented his interactive installation Textron (2002) with electronically interlaced motifs through an old craft tool like sewing machine and digitally projected images of geometrical calculations.

Body cinema: Adapting for distortion by Hiroaki Umeda

Dancer and choreographer Hiroaki Umeda had been treated here with special care… His dancing technique, space design and approach to technology have made it so… I found this video thanks to DBM Mediterranean Dance Network which posted  Umeda’s new video ‘Adapting for distortion’ on their Facebook profile several hours ago.
