Robolamps by Robert Matysiak from Pula (Croatia) have already traveled through the blogosphere… his story on making lamps out of hard plastic is pretty interesting…

Robert got a job few years ago in an electrical supplies store in Pula. As being a creative person, surrounded with all these lamps, lighting installations and electronic tools, he couldn’t resist not to create something new and very own…

So, the Robolamps were born…

Since the city of Pula has a Hand Made Festival, it was pretty logical to present there his Robolamps… At his first public appearance he exhibited 17 of his lamps… the success was inevitable… It’s not something unusual, since the cities of Pula and Rijeka were always nurseries for creative individuals…

His lamps are made from PNC tubes and pipes for drain condensation and electrical installations … Each Robolamp is unique and different, functioning fully and simultaneously as artworkz and everyday use product.

The size is from 15cm (Aramin or YomY) to 50cm height, intended for the use of max 40w bulb. Recently Robert Matysiak has started to take orders for lamps… hence, be fast and check his Myspace or Facebook page and order a lamp for yourself…
