Pocket cinema: Hello World! project

November 10, 2011

No, no! I haven’t’ forgot that I’m a blogger too. It’s just that this switch to pure practice takes some time. Well, my October was rather exciteful: visiting Granada and presenting Body Pixel at Campus Party Milenio, partaking Arduino Workshop with David Cuartielles there, then starting a season with I’MM_‘s first international workshop led by Hackteria, then putting some wearables into Mojca‘s Socialdress workshop in Zagreb,  lotza, lotza networking, etc, etc…

…And I apologize to lotza people I haven’t contacted or didn’t make stuff I promised during summer. I will! Now, when I’m getting again all of my pieces together I’m ready to finish all stuff, since the first phase – opening the lab, is over.

April 20, 2011

Zagreb hosted between 31st March and 3rd April its first official Arduino workshop led by new media artist Ivan Marusic Klif and programmer&maker Igor Brkic aka hyperglitch.

The event titled ‘Artduino presents you Arduino‘, organized by propulsive framework Culture of Change (Kultura promjene) based in Student Centre, gathered about 20 people of different backgrounds, ages and interests. No different from similar events around the globe we usually peek at online.

Edita Matan’s interactive gloves

June 28, 2010

Edita Matan’s project Interactive Gloves has in its focus electronic communication. She sees it as an analogue and digital work that presents two sides of communication: one that is tangible and touchable, and the other part that is ‘the most non-social form – the mathematical, electronic form’.
